A POD publication is proposed in large format composed of new and old texts (documentation, code, fiction), maps, diagrams, and images related to Breakthrough for publication in November 2009. The deadline for all materials will be 30th September 2009. The deadline is now extended to mid-October!

Proposed by Shintaro Miyazaki: Essay about Algorhythms. Hidden Music and an Media Archeology of the Ear. About 10 pages, inclusive contemplation about the term breakthrough (Lichtung) + Audiofile. Concerning the herbstradio.org I have my own slot (planned as 24.10 from 2000-2200, where I could make promotion for the Breakthrough broadcast).

Danja: include a text (to be written?) about alternative inter-networking. many examples already existent and the necessity is spoken of. see http://k0a1a.net/netless, http://bang.calit2.net/wiki/Autonet, http://www.deadswap.net/Statement. layout can be like: 1) why makes people think such networks are needed (political; freedom to communicate; technological independence; actionism; etc)… 2) how can we approach this (roofnets; wide mesh-networking; sneaker-nets; fluxed wireless mesh; geo-networking; permutations of)… 3) when paradigm changes, what will we see (imaginable impacts; effects; reaction of authority) TODO: find someone to write about it.

Ana & Bjørn: I've put up some documentation of the Ad Undas network, esp. a.u.n.=even as even(t) (unlikely time function), pair, horizontal, flat, an intensive to indicate something that is unexpected: declined even to consider the sea; and maybe that's why it became odd, strange, peculiar, remainder, small, irregular (from Old Norse oddi, point of land, triangle, odd number), so a sort of slapstick comedy of a day at the beach w/ pervert and mental case. The soundtrack is from the site but displaced cut-up as noise blocks of sea communication (listening. dialogue? breakthrough?).
